📦 Event & card pack
Set the first and last serial from a bundle. The tool finds the common prefix, reads the changing last digits, computes the range, and hands out the next unused card in order as each youth signs.

🔎 Participant card history
Look up any youth to see every travel card they have received over the internship — across all packs and events. Works without opening a pack.

Builds before 8/5 overwrote a youth's previous card when a new one was issued — those earlier records are gone from the database. If the paper sign-out sheet (or the 🕳️ audit above) shows this youth received an earlier card, restore it here. Backfilled cards are marked 📌 for audit.

End of program, one action: stamps your signature onto every card record still missing a staff sign-off (across all packs), marks every pack CLOSED, builds one PDF with the complete distribution list for every pack (signature images included), downloads it, and files it into the 🗄 Offline Document Repository as the close-out package.

🔐 Filing to the repository needs an @nycid.org sign-in (the repository is staff-pinned in the storage rules). The PDF always downloads locally either way — if you skip the sign-in, a retry button appears so nothing is lost.

This is the end-of-program action. Closed packs stop handing out cards (an explicit confirm can override). Nothing is deleted — every record stays in Firestore exactly as it is, plus your staff signature where one was missing.
🔒 On-hand packs — safe inventory (cards NOT issued)
For the audit the cards left over have to be accounted for too. Record every sealed, unissued pack held in NYCID's headquarters safe below; the table also shows the unissued remainder of every opened pack, so cards-left is one number. ⬇ builds a quick PDF inventory and files it into the 🗄 repository beside the close-out package.
